Combining a contemporary slice of British RnB with hints of Memphis soul, The King Dukes are set to unleash their debut album ‘Numb Tongues’ this October. The band take influence from such bands as Zoot Money's Big Roll Band, Frank Wilson, Jimmy Robins, Dexy’s Midnight Runners and Otis Reding, including contemporaries such as St Paul and the Broken Bones, Leon Bridges and James Hunter.

​Né à Bristol en 2017, le groupe est formé de musiciens issus de groupes reconnus de la scène locale (Crippled Black Phoenix, Screamin’ Miss Jackson and The John E Vistic Experience) qui ont décidé de mettre leurs talents en commun pour un nouveau voyage musical trempé dans la Soul. Leurs influences vont de Little Willie John à Otis Redding en passant par Dexy’s Midnight Runners, St Paul & the Broken Bones ou James Hunter.
